I choose option one so that Equstria can be the same and the way it was before the huge war was Harmonized and stuff... u know. FLUTTERSHY IS AWESOME! I was Moon Blossom, her daughter OC that I made up...
Well by choosing option 3 you forced Equestria in to a civil war with the Celestial Empire supporters and the New Luna Republic for another 2-3 years thus resulting in the deaths of many ponies and making Equestria's economy crumble. During the 3rd year of fighting it finally all stops and the ponies come together to revitalize their economy and rebuild their divided land. A counsel of pegasi, earth ponies, and unicorns now rule Equestria and day and night comes naturally now since Celestia is infused with the Sun and Luna is with the Moon or at least that's what I had option 3 envisioned as.
Main reason was once again the time I had to make it but I also want it do be up to the player. If I gave you a summery of what each choice did after you pick it then there would be a good and bad option. The good one would be with the least amount of deaths while the bad would have the most.
I think it would be nice if in the end after you make one of 3 choices, you would see result of your choice, where 1 choice will lead to bad ending, secound to neutral and the last one too good ending.
Well actually the way I designed it was for there to be no clear good or evil choice. Its meant for the player to decide what is the good or evil choice. The game was more then a bit rushed, I already had to cut the game down to half its intended size to get it done on time. I really did want the player to see how their choice would shape Equestria but I just didn't have the time, so for now its open to the players.
The best answer though would just wish for the fighting to stop and the sisters to come together in Harmony. For the Solar Empire and Lunar Republic to be disbanded, to have things be in balance once again under an United Equestria.
Also be to honest if I was forced to choose between Celestia and Luna... I would pick Celestia as she is a good and benevolent ruler. It was not Celestia that went bad and tried to create endless night what would kill everyone from starvation and cold.
Ooooh Does that mean there may be an update of this in the future? I think that would be rather awesome. If not, I still enjoyed this quite a bit. I really like how this made you really think about your choice.
Can you really say you didn't kill them? By brainwashing all of the CE you are changing one of their core values. The CE was something they believed in and something they though was right but your changing them in to someone completely different by brainwashing them. Not to mention the heartache that Celestia must of gone through to see all of her close friends turn on her. By the way choice 1 and 2 where inspired by the choice you must make on the Geth in Mass Effect 2.
